Sevilla moved up to fifth in La Liga after coming from behind to record a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Maxi Gomez rose to meet Pione Sisto's free-kick after 13 minutes to hand the visitors the perfect start, but the Uruguayan striker missed a glorious chance to double his account when his next effort from Daniel Wass's cross sailed inches wide.
Sevilla took full advantage of the miss to level 36 minutes into the encounter as Johannes Geis' cross was headed in by Luis Muriel and the home side completed the turnaround three minutes into the second half as Nolito converted Pablo Sarabia's centre.
Pablo Hernandez came closest to equalising deep into stoppage time, but he could only head over after being set up by Sergi Gomez as Sevilla held onto all three points to leave Celta in 12th place.
Elsewhere, Getafe striker Angel scored twice as his side cruised to a 4-1 win over struggling Alaves in the lunchtime kick-off.
The hosts made a flying start with a strike from Markel Bergara and a Jorge Molina penalty giving them a two-goal lead inside the first 10 minutes.
Angel added his brace in the opening 20 minutes of the second half before the visitors replied late on with a consolation goal from Christian Santos.
