Blackburn boss Owen Coyle is waiting on Hope Akpan ahead of Rovers' Sky Bet Championship clash at home to Leeds on Wednesday night.

Akpan was forced off during the FA Cup win over Blackpool with a knock and will be assessed ahead of Wednesday's game.

Liam Feeney missed the game with a broken nose and will also be checked on before the game while Charlie Mulgrew (groin) could return to the side.

New signings Lucas Joao and Marvin Emnes - back for a second loan deal - could both feature while Tommy Hoban (shoulder) remains sidelined but is expected to be back in training at the end of the week.

There will be wholesale changes from Garry Monk's visitors.
