Eric Dier and Danny Rose start in the two changes to England's side in Slovenia on Tuesday night.

Dier replaces captain Wayne Rooney in midfield in a widely-anticipated change, while Rose comes in for left-back Ryan Bertrand, who was injured during Saturday's win over Malta.

Jordan Henderson stands in as skipper with Rooney on the bench, while Saturday's goalscorers Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge retain their places.

England have won both their World Cup Qualifiers to date, the first in Slovakia in Sam Allardyce's one-and-only game in charge, although there were signs of frustration in the Wembley crowd at the weekend as some boos were directed at Rooney.

Team: Hart, Walker, Stones, Cahill, Rose, Dier, Henderson, Alli, Lingard, Walcott, Sturridge.
