Arsenal will bid to make it five straight Premier League wins when they head to Burnley on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 2 HD.

The clash will come 20 years and one day after Arsene Wenger took charge of Arsenal, an arrival which originally prompted billboards saying 'Arsene who?' around the capital.

Wenger will hope the celebrations do not serve as a distraction, with Arsenal currently on an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Sean Dyche's Burnley ended a run of four games without a win when they defeated Watford 2-0 last weekend.

As a result, the Burnley boss could retain the same line-up as they target back-to-back league wins for the first time since November 2014 in the top tier.

Team news

The Gunners could welcome Francis Coquelin back into the fold as the midfielder faces a fitness test having recovered sooner than expected from a knee injury.

Olivier Giroud (toe) is still out, while Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), Per Mertesacker, Danny Welbeck and Carl Jenkinson (all knee) are also absent.

Burnley 2-0 Watford

Burnley are again without suspended striker Andre Gray, who is serving the second part of a four-game ban, while forward Ashley Barnes is edging closer to a return after long-standing hamstring problems.

Opta stats

Burnley are winless in seven league games against the Gunners (D3 L4), losing each of the last three in the Premier League.

The last three league meetings between the two sides at Turf Moor have produced a total of just three goals (0-0, 1-1 and most recently, 0-1).

Arsenal's Theo Walcott celebrates with Alexis Sanchez after scoring his second during the Champions League game against FC Basel at the Emirates Stadium.

Alexis Sanchez has been involved in four goals in three appearances against the Clarets in all competitions, scoring three and assisting one.

Hector Bellerin has provided more assists than any other Premier League defender since the start of last season (six).

Arsenal have won 22 and drawn three of their last 25 Premier League games against newly-promoted teams.

Arsenal 3-0 Chelsea

The Clarets have conceded just five goals in their last 17 home league games, and never more than once in a match in that period.

Steven Defour has been directly involved in four of Burnley's five Premier League goals this season, scoring one and assisting three.

Merson's prediction

This is Arsenal. They were irresistible against Chelsea and Basel but this, on a chilly Sunday afternoon in Burnley, will tell you if they have a chance of winning the Premier League.

It should be 4-0. Burnley shouldn't be able to live with Arsenal if they pass the ball around like they have in the last few games. But that won't happen.

Burnley will set up 4-5-1 and make it very difficult. If Arsenal get the first goal it sets them up but we have seen it all before, which is why I wouldn't be shocked if Burnley won.

If Arsenal win this then at the start of the October they are players in the title race, but if they don't then it's the Arsenal we know from recent seasons.
