West Ham will hope to bounce back from their crumbling 4-2 defeat to Watford when they travel to West Brom on Saturday.

Their opposition must also dust themselves down from missing out on points last weekend, after losing 1-0 at Bournemouth in what was Albion's third league defeat of the season, with questions raised over the future of Tony Pulis.

The Hammers will hope to kick-start their campaign and playing away from the London Stadium may help Slaven Bilic's side who currently sit just one point above the relegation zone.

Team news

Hal Robson-Kanu could be included in the West Brom squad for the first time.

The Wales international striker has been building up his fitness since signing for the club at the end of last month and he might make the bench against the Hammers.

James Morrison is also nearing a return from his hamstring problems but Saturday's match may come too soon for the midfielder.

West Ham defender Alvaro Arbeloa may have to wait to make his debut and he will most likely wait until next week's EFL Cup tie against Accrington.

The former Real Madrid full-back, who signed on a free transfer on deadline day, was expected to be in line for his first start of the campaign but boss Slaven Bilic is set to stick with Sam Byram at right-back.

Mark Noble is expected to be fit after requiring eight stitches in his hand after it was trod on in the defeat to Watford last weekend.

Diafra Sakho, Andre Ayew and Aaron Cresswell are all making "good progress" as the trio edge closer to a return to action.

Merson's prediction

It was too easy for West Ham early on last weekend, and all of a sudden they conceded and it changed the whole complexion of the game. It is going to take a while for them to get used to the new stadium.

It's a big game for West Brom because they were beaten by Bournemouth, a team I expect to be around them come the end of the season.

Neither team is in great shape, and while I wouldn't be surprised if West Ham got the victory, I'm backing West Brom at home to get a point.

Salomon Rondon is considered the first goalscorer favourite at 5/1, with Andy Carroll is rated the visitors' main threat at 6/1.
