Cardiff beaten 2-1 at home by Burnley on Super Sunday

How damaging was Cardiff's defeat to Burnley on Super Sunday? And what do Neil Warnock's side need to improve on if they are going to stay in the Premier League?
Craig Bellamy and Alex Scott gave their views on Cardiff after their winless start to the season continued against Burnley.
Cardiff have now failed to win in seven matches, only picking up two points from games against fellow strugglers Newcastle and Huddersfield.

As it happened
Former Cardiff striker Bellamy said Warnock is getting the most from the team, and doesn't think they need to change their direct approach.
"It got them a lot of success last year," he said on Sky Sports. "Against Newcastle they were the better team and today it was just fine margins. They could come away with six points from those two games.
"They just need to make the most of their opportunities, and can they get Josh Murphy on the ball and also Victor Camarasa, because he looks like a really good player.
"Cardiff are always going to be dangerous from set pieces, but if they were going to create anything outside the box it was going to come through Camarasa. I like his creativity and he looks like a player who could build from the back.
"Most of the players were with Warnock last year so they know how he plays. This team is very direct. They have a lot of touches in the penalty box because there are a lot of balls coming into the box. Cardiff did win first balls against Burnley but they needed a bit of luck with the rebounds."
Cardiff were promoted from the Championship last year after finishing second behind Wolves, and Bellamy is not concerned for their long-term future.
"This was always going to be a tough year and after today it's going to be even tougher, but they have the right manager and if they did get relegated they are in a strong position to go back up.
"This will hurt them though, because they were the better team. I felt Cardiff were better and not to get three points from a game when you are the better team in the Premier League is very difficult because there will be bigger tests ahead."
Former England Women's defender Scott said she fears for Cardiff this season unless they can start to take more chances and win games at home.
"I see a team that lacks any real quality and, when you are struggling to score goals and conceding, then it is going to be an uphill struggle.
"I can't see the element of magic where they are going to win games and the home games are so vital. Look at Brighton last season; they won 73 per cent of their points at home. That was how they survived. This was a huge game for Cardiff and defeat was self-inflicted from their defensive mistakes.
"They have Liverpool and Tottenham coming up so they have to pick themselves up and try to go again."
