Gareth Southgate is set to name his Nations League squad

Gareth Southgate will name his England squad for the Nations League finals this Thursday but who will be among the group going to Portugal?
The England manager is expected to name a large squad before submitting his final 23-man selection by the May 27 deadline.
The situation is complicated by the fact that many England regulars will be involved in the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham on June 1, while the Europa League final between Arsenal and Chelsea also takes place after the deadline.
In the event of injury, changes to the squad can be made until 24 hours before the first game and Harry Kane's fitness will be uppermost in Southgate's mind. However, he will not be the only concern because there could be as many as a dozen England regulars featuring in those matches.
Could there be a surprise in the squad? England are also involved in the European U21 Championships next month so Southgate is unlikely to want to pull players out of that tournament if they are not going to be starters.
But the priority will be winning senior honours and the inaugural Nations League final offers that possibility. England face Netherlands in the semi-final in Guimaraes on June 6 with the final taking place in Porto on June 9.
The other semi-final is between hosts Portugal and Switzerland.
