Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry are among the names that have been voted into the all-time European Championship best XI, according to a UEFA online poll.
No England players made the cut as Italy boast three players while Spain, France and Germany have two and there's one each from the Netherlands and Portugal.
Over 3.5m votes were cast through Euro2016.com and on social media, where the online community were asked to pick their ultimate team from 50 players that made a huge mark in the European Championships.
Let's take a look at the players that made the grade....
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Buffon, Italy
Twice named in the team of the tournament (2008, 2012), the legendary Italian goalkeeper captained his nation to a runners-up spot in 2012 after the Azzurri lost 4-0 to Spain in the final.
Right back: Philipp Lahm, Germany
Like Buffon, the former German skipper has been named in two teams of the tournament (2008, 2012), winning eight of his 14 matches at the Euros.
Left back: Paalo Maldini, Italy
The elegant but tough tackling full-back made the team of the tournament three times (1988, 1996, 2000) and was moments away from being a winning European Championship captain in 2000 when a stoppage time equaliser by Sylvain Wiltord helped France take the game to extra-time. David Trezeguet broke Italian hearts when the striker netted the winner.
Centre-back: Franz Beckenbauer, Germany
The iconic defender skippered West Germany to their first European Championship success in 1972 but lost on penalties in the final four years later against Czechoslovakia as Antonin Panenka's famous spot-kick sealed victory.
Centre-back: Carlos Puyol, Spain
Barcelona's record-breaking defender was a rock at the heart of the Spanish back four that won the tournament in 2008 and he could have become a two-time winner had he not suffered injury before the 2012 competition which Spain went on to win.
Midfield: Andrea Pirlo, Italy
A player that struck fear into England football fans due to his influential performances for Italy against the Three Lions, including an audacious chipped penalty in the 2012 quarter-final shootout. Italy were beaten in the final by Spain but Pirlo still made the team of the tournament.
Midfield: Zinedine Zidane, France
One of the greatest footballers to have ever graced the turf, he was the catalyst behind France's triumph in 2000.
Midfield: Andres Iniesta, Spain
The heartbeat in the Spanish team that won two European Championships, Iniesta won the player of the tournament in 2012.
Striker: Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal
Although he is yet to win a major international honour, Ronaldo's performances at Euro 2004 (runners-up) and Euro 2012 (semi-finals) afforded the global superstar huge adulation.
Striker: Thierry Henry, France
The Premier League goal machine turned Sky Sports pundit, burst onto the world stage with his performances in Euro 2000, ending the tournament with a winners medal. He also scored at two other tournaments (2004, 2008).
Striker: Marco van Basten, Netherlands
Famed for scoring a stunning volley in the 1988 final, Van Basten scored five goals in that tournament - including a hat-trick against England - as he played a huge part in Netherlands' memorable triumph.
