Northern Ireland and Israel will meet at Windsor Park on September 11.

The match will come three days after a UEFA Nations League game against Bosnia-Herzegovina at the national stadium.

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neil said: "When we are looking for options for friendly matches we want teams that will challenge us and help us improve as a squad. Israel offer both of those things.

"This match completes our schedule for 2018 and I'm pleased with the mix of fixtures that we have.

"With games against South Korea, Panama, Costa Rica, the Republic of Ireland and now Israel, as well as competitive matches against Bosnia and Austria, we have a varied but exciting schedule and one which I believe will stand us in good stead ahead of the start of Euro 2020 qualifying next year."

Appointed manager in December 2011, O'Neill signed a four-year contract extension earlier this month, having turned down a chance to replace Gordon Strachan as Scotland's boss.
