Harry Kane, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere were among nine England players to miss their training session on Tuesday morning

Jack Wilshere and Harry Kane were among nine players who missed full England training ahead of Friday's World Cup Qualifier against Scotland.

Gareth Southgate led a full team training session at St George's Park on Tuesday, and despite having no injury concerns ahead of the Wembley tie, the interim manager was without five players involved in the north London derby as well as Wilshere, Raheem Sterling, John Stones and Phil Jagielka - who all took part in individual recovery sessions.

Kane, Eric Dier, Danny Rose, Theo Walcott and Kyle Walker were all involved in Tottenham's clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday and continued with their specific training programmes.

Despite starting against the Gunners and scoring Spurs' equaliser, the derby was Kane's first game since sustaining ankle ligament damage against Sunderland on September 18.
