Sam Allardyce will name his first England squad after the round of Premier League fixtures on Sunday, August 28.
Allardyce's first game will be the World Cup qualifier in Slovakia on September 4 before a double-header of qualifying matches in October, against Malta at Wembley and against Slovenia away from home.
He left his role as Sunderland manager and was confirmed as Roy Hodgson's successor on a two-year deal in July.
The 61-year-old last week appointed Leicester assistant manager Craig Shakespeare as England's new first-team coach. He joins a backroom staff which also includes Sammy Lee as assistant manager and Martyn Margetson as goalkeeping coach.
Allardyce inherits an England squad at something of a low point following their failure at Euro 2016, a tournament in which they were knocked out by Iceland at the last-16 stage.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere admits the players need to "win back the trust" of the supporters and accepts there will be some fresh faces in Allardyce's first squad.
"I'm sure there will be new players involved with England, and us, of course, we need to win the trust back of the fans," he said. "But once we do that we need the whole country behind us as well."
