Sky Sports will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of England's 1966 World Cup win across all its platforms this Saturday, so make sure you join us for what promises to be a fun-packed day...
On a baking hot summer's afternoon at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, July 30 1966, Alf Ramsey's England beat West Germany 4-2 after extra time to win the Jules Rimet trophy for the first, and so far, only time in their history.
To mark the anniversary of the historic occasion, we at Sky Sports will be recreating much of the day itself, including a 'live' minute-by-minute blog of the entire game itself on our web, mobile and iPad platforms.
That is ALL 120 minutes of the drama, as well as a full build-up to the showpiece event and post-match reaction too from the home of football, including analysis from Sky Sports pundit and former England international defender Jamie Carragher at half-time and after the full-time whistle.
Sky Sports News HQ will be also commemorating England's victory by displaying replicas of both the famous old trophy and the distinctive orange match ball throughout the day in its studio.
Sky Sports 1, meanwhile, will be reshowing the documentary 'The Boys of 66' at 4.15pm where the voice of football and Sky Sports football commentator Martin Tyler looks back on that glorious summer 50 years ago, while he also talks to the surviving members of the team, meeting fans and looking at its legacy.
Check out On Demand for a dedicated area for further '66 content including another chance to see January's Monday Night Football special where Carragher - using the touchscreen and stats from Opta - gives the final the full Sky Sports treatment.
And finally, on Social Media, there will be a picture gallery to view with eye-catching images from the event on Saturday morning, while we will also be launching #MyDreamEnglandXI on Facebook on Friday afternoon.
Send us in your favourite XI from your time watching the England national team, using the above hashtag, and we will publish the best line-ups.
Be sure to join us for what promises to be a brilliant day's entertainment!
