Raheem Sterling has risked the wrath of England fans after appearing to show off lavish wealth in a video posted on social media just hours after arriving home from Euro 2016.
The Manchester City winger struggled for form in France and came in for criticism as England were beaten 2-1 by Iceland in the last 16, a result which prompted the resignation of manager Roy Hodgson.
In the Snapchat video Sterling, who is still wearing his national team shirt, appears to take friends on a tour of a luxury mansion, showing a crystal-encrusted bathroom sink and host of luxury cars.
England landed at Luton Airport at around 6pm on Tuesday after their defeat in Nice and exit from the tournament.
According to The Sun, a friend posted the video, with the former Liverpool player smiling as luxury cars are displayed before Sterling moves into a posh bathroom. The group then walk into a cinema room.
They then go back outside to look at the range of sports cars in another post, which was captioned "my team winning" with a smiling emoticon.
After England's 1-1 draw with Russia in their Euro 2016 opener, Sterling posted a picture of the Stade Velodrome in Marseille on his Instagram account, calling himself "the hated one" after criticism of his performance.
The post read: "Really unlucky today, on a good team performance really deserved the win, but we go again but proud all the boys...#England #raheemsterling #TheHatedOne"
