Harry Redknapp does not expect Marcus Rashford to play for England at Euro 2016, despite being named in the squad just 96 days after his Manchester United debut.
The 18-year-old was included by Roy Hodgson after scoring just three minutes into his first senior appearance for his country in Friday's 2-1 friendly win over Australia.
That came after he had netted nine times in 19 United appearances, including four goals in his first two outings against FC Midtjylland and Arsenal.
Despite the impressive impact he has made at club level, former Tottenham manager Redknapp is not convinced Rashford will get on the pitch during the finals in France.
He expects the other strikers in Hodgson's 23-man pool - Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy, Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge - to keep him sidelined instead.
Redknapp told Sky Sports News HQ at a Walkabout Euro 2016 Preview: "In all honesty, I can't really see him playing. I like him and he's going to be a real player in the future.
"But we've got Kane, we've got Vardy, we've got Sturridge, we've got Rooney - I think he (Hodgson) has got a lot of options up front.
"I wouldn't see Rashford getting a game and I'll be surprised if he gets too much, if any, games personally."
Redknapp is encouraged with the quality of Hodgson's overall selections and thinks it gives the country genuine hope of achieving something in France.
He added: "It's a good squad of players and I like the look of the England squad at the moment. It's going to be an exciting tournament and I think we've got a real chance."
