Terry Butcher gives us his player ratings from England's European Qualifiers clash with Estonia at Wembley on Friday night.
England made it nine out of nine in Group E with a 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Theo Walcott and Raheem Sterling.
Joe Hart 6/10
Untested, untroubled, and probably his easiest England performance for a long, long time.
Nathaniel Clyne 7
Got forward well, had to defend at the right times. Steady and impressive night from the Liverpool defender.
Gary Cahill 7
It's great to have a win as your captain. My first captaincy at Wembley we beat Yugoslavia 2-0. Steady, comfortable, a solid seven out of 10.
Chris Smalling 7
He's growing in confidence and is having a good season so far, and has formed a good partnership with Cahill, but he was really untroubled too. It was more about concentration at the back.
Ryan Bertrand 7
Very good. He got forward well and linked well with Sterling down the left-hand side, and in the first half it was England's best attacking channel. He didn't have much to do defending, but coped with everything very well.
James Milner 7
Good in front of the back four, linked the play well and was solid. You could see he wanted to get forward more but had to be restricted. With Jack Wilshere in there too, you've got two players who can give you 7/10 performances consistently.
Ross Barkley 8
England's Man of the Match. He was terrific. He overdid things sometimes, but it was a wonderful ball for the first goal, and when he got on the ball England looked as though they could score.
Theo Walcott 7
He possibly came inside a bit too often and too quick, but scored a terrific goal with a good run on the stroke of half-time but also had a good opportunity with a snapped volley in the first half. Always a threat, and he's given Roy Hodgson something to think about.
Adam Lallana 7
He was good going forward, but sometimes got in the way of Harry Kane. He worked hard, kept the ball well and manipulated the ball well. He suited that role very well.
Raheem Sterling 7.5
He was rewarded with the goal at the end. He's only young but he's growing in confidence playing that role, and when he changed flanks to the right-hand side he scored, showing he can play either well.
Harry Kane 7
Held the ball up well, but missed a great opportunity, with is unlike Kane. Last season he would have put that in, but I thought he held the ball up well, and flicked the ball on well for the second goal.
Subs:
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain 6
He didn't have much time to impress in the role, but is a good option for England always.
Jamie Vardy 6
He looked good and played a pivotal role in the second goal. He looked sharp and is hungry for selection and playing time. I think he's got a good future, even if it has come late.
Dele Alli N/A
You're taking off Barkley, who is 21, and replacing him with a 19-year-old. The average age of the England team is just over 25, and it's great to see.
