England will face Euro 2016 finalists France at the Stade de France next June, the Football Association has confirmed.

The fixture will see a repeat of the emotional friendly between the two sides at Wembley last November following the Paris terror attacks.

England won that game 2-0 but it was France who went on to have a more successful European Championship campaign, reaching the final as hosts only to lose to Portugal.

Sam Allardyce got off to a winning start as England's new manager when his side secured a 1-0 victory over Slovakia and next year's match will take place three days after England's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Scotland at Hampden Park.

Didier Deschamps' France, meanwhile, were held to a goalless draw in Belarus in their opening qualifier.
