Fran Sol's double earned Willem II a 2-1 win at home to fourth-placed Heerenveen in the Eredivisie on Friday night.
Sol opened the scoring in the 16th minute and grabbed the winner just before the hour mark, Freek Heerkens' 25th-minute own goal having brought the visitors level.
Victory moved Willem II into mid-table, while Heerenveen missed the chance to close the gap on PSV Eindhoven in third.
