PEC Zwolle moved ahead of Feyenoord into third place in the Eredivisie with a 1-0 win over Willem II on Saturday.

Tomas Necid's goal in the 74th minute was enough to earn Zwolle the three points and they are two ahead of Fred Rutten's side - though the latter have two games in hand, the first at home to AZ Alkmaar on Sunday.

Heerenveen won 2-0 away to NAC Breda, Mark Uth with both goals in the 35th and 62 minutes.

Martijn Barto and Albert Rusnak gave Cambuur Leeuwarden a 2-1 win away to Go Ahead Eagles, whose late consolation goal came from Deniz Turuc.

ADO Den Haag came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Excelsior. Luigi Bruins and Ninos Gouriye put Excelsior on top but two goals in five minutes, from Mike van Duinen and Gianni Zuiverloon, levelled the scores before half-time.

On Friday night, Heracles Almelo drew 1-1 with FC Dordrecht.
