Bottom side Heracles secured their first Eredivisie victory of the season in fine style by thumping NAC Breda 6-1 at Polman Stadion.
The long-awaited triumph was a real team effort as six different players found the net for Heracles.
Jeroen Veldmate, Thomas Bruns and Wouter Weghorst gave the home side a 3-0 lead at the interval, before Joey Pelupessy, Iliass Bel Hassani and substitute Jaroslav Navratil completed the rout in the second half.
Substitute Mats Seuntjens netted a consolation for NAC two minutes after entering the fray in the 73rd minute but it was definitely not their day.
Elsewhere, Cambuur moved up to fourth in the standings as a brace from Bartholomew Ogbeche and further strikes by Daniel De Ridder and Sander van der Streek gave them a 4-1 victory over FC Dordrecht.
Go Ahead Eagles edged to a 3-2 victory over FC Utrecht, while Willem II were 2-1 winners against Heerenveen.
