PSV Eindhoven hit Emmen for six to make it nine wins from nine at the top of the Eredivisie.

Gaston Pereiro and Luuk de Jong both scored twice in the first half as the league leaders wrapped up the points by half-time.

Erick Gutierrez made it five in the 79th minute and his fellow Mexican Hirving Lozano sealed a 6-0 win in the dying minutes.

Such is the level of PSV's early-season dominance that they have not conceded a domestic goal since September 1 and have won their last five league games by an aggregate score of 22-0.

Ajax are their closest challengers, five points off the pace, as they also enjoyed an emphatic victory, 4-0 at Heerenveen.

Lasse Schone opened the scoring for the visitors after only three minutes and Hakim Ziyech doubled the advantage shortly before half-time.

Two quick-fire goals early in the second period from Dusan Tadic with a penalty and Kasper Dolberg secured victory.
