Chelsea defender Michael Hector has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old Jamaica international spent last season on loan at Reading, from which he joined the Blues for £4m last summer.
He featured several times in pre-season under new manager Antonio Conte but the centre-back has been sent out to the Bundesliga to continue his development
Hector began his career as a trainee at Reading and spent time on loan at Irish side Dundalk, Barnet, Shrewsbury, Aldershot, Cheltenham Town and Aberdeen before establishing himself in the Royals first-team.
He made 93 appearances for Reading including last-year's loan spell but has never made a competitive senior appearance for Chelsea.
