Arsenal's academy boss Andries Jonker has left the club to become Wolfsburg's new head coach.
The 54-year-old, who was assistant coach at the Volkswagen Arena before joining Arsenal in 2014, replaces Valerian Ismael following the Frenchman's sacking on Sunday.
Jonker has signed a deal until 2018 and rejoins Wolfsburg with the club just two points above the Bundesliga's relegation places.
Freddie Ljungberg, who has been coaching as part of Jonker's staff, is also joining the Wolves as an assistant.
Emirates chief executive Ivan Gazidis acknowledged the "huge progress" made by the academy during Jonker's time in charge, while the Dutchman told the Arsenal website: "I have had a wonderful three years.
"We have made significant progress and it has been great to be part of a club which puts such an emphasis on developing young players through its academy.
"I leave a great team of people who will continue to do a terrific job and I would like to thank everyone, including the board, chief executive Ivan Gazidis and Arsene Wenger for all the support.
"There are some top young players in the Arsenal academy. I look forward to seeing them progress their careers."
