Bayern Munich have refused to sell Robert Lewandowski despite his agent holding talks with Real Madrid.
The Poland striker, who scored 30 Bundesliga goals last season, has three years left on his contract, but has been routinely linked with a move to the Bernabeu in the Spanish press.
Lewandowski and Bayern reportedly failed to agree a contract extension in April, and the player has made it clear he is weighing up his options at the German champions.
The 27-year-old has been on Real's radar since he scored four goals against the Spanish giants in the 2013 Champions League semi-final for his previous club Borussia Dortmund.
However Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is adamant that the Bavarian side will not sell their star striker for any price.
"One thing I know for sure, Robert Lewandowski will play in the upcoming season at Bayern Munich," Rummenigge told German magazine Kicker. "There is no need to think anything else."
"The decision has been made: we won't let Robert Lewandowski go, regardless of what offer lands on the table.
"There is no pain-barrier (to what Bayern will pay) when it comes to Robert."
Lewandowski and Bayern reportedly failed to agree a contract extension in April, and agent Cezary Kucharski says Real have been in touch with them.
"Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago, we listened to everything they said. It's a big and exciting club," Kucharski told the German news magazine Spiegel. "We have informed FC Bayern that we've held talks with Madrid."
