Roma defender Ashley Cole has accepted an offer to join LA Galaxy, Sky in Italy understands.
The former Chelsea left-back has said goodbye to his team-mates at the Serie A side, having cancelled his contract with them.
Cole's days at the club appeared numbered after he was left out of Roma's 25-man Champions League squad and he now looks set for a swansong in the MLS.
The 35-year-old, who won 107 caps for England, played 16 times for the club in his first season in the Italian capital but has yet to feature during the current campaign.
Cole came through the ranks at Arsenal before joining Chelsea for £5m in 2006 and he subsequently made the move to Italy on a free transfer in July 2014.
