Former Arsenal winger Gervinho has left Roma to join Chinese Super League new boys Hebei Fortune.

The 28-year-old joined Roma in 2013 and has scored six goals for the Serie A side this season.

However, he has been pictured holding the shirt of newly-promoted Hebei Fortune, who were only formed in 2010, and it is thought the move is worth around £13.7m (18m euros).

Stephan El Shaarawy, meanwhile, has arrived in Rome for a medical as he looks set to replace the Ivory Coast international.

El Shaarawy spent the first half of the season on loan with Monaco from AC Milan but is poised to sign a deal with Roma until the summer.
