Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane admitted he had one eye on the Champions League final after his side were beaten 3-2 by Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Goals from Wissam Ben Yedder and Miguel Layun had given Sevilla a commanding half-time lead.
Sergio Ramos took centre stage after the break, missing a penalty and scoring an own goal before he scored Real Madrid's second goal from the spot to add to Borja Mayoral's 87th-minute header.
Zidane made seven changes for the game, with Cristiano Ronaldo injured and Gareth Bale suspended, and the Frenchman said: "Do you think we came here to lose?
"All the players I have are worthy of playing time and sometimes some have to rest. We have a final to play on May 26 and no matter what people think, I'm the coach and it's me who decides.
