Chelsea are in talks over the signing of Real Madrid right-back Danilo, according to Sky sources.
Sources in Italy say the Brazilian is wanted as competition for Victor Moses, who was converted to a wing-back role during Antonio Conte's first season at Stamford Bridge.
Danilo started 17 times in La Liga for champions Real last season, but Dani Carvajal was preferred for most big games including the Champions League final.
Chelsea showed an interest in another Brazilian right-back, Dani Alves, earlier in the summer and have also been pursuing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.
Juve are also in for Danilo after losing Alves to Paris Saint-Germain, and the 25-year-old is likely to cost around £28m.
Chelsea last week made £34m defender Antonio Rudiger their first major signing of the summer, while a deal for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is close.
The Blues have also been offered Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £70m.
