Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with his fourth Ballon d'Or award before Real Madrid's victory over Granada at the Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon.
Ronaldo scored once as Real equalled Barcelona's Spanish record of 39 games unbeaten in all competitions, winning 5-0 to move six points clear at the top of La Liga.
Before the game, the Portugal captain was joined by several former Ballon d'Or winners, including Luis Figo, Michael Owen and Ronaldo's Brazilian namesake, while Kaka shared a video message.
Los Blancos had ended Barcelona's record-breaking run last season with a 2-1 win at the Nou Camp and have not been beaten since going down 2-0 to Wolfsburg in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final last April.
Isco scored twice, with Karim Benzema, Ronaldo and Casemiro also on the scoresheet against struggling Granada as Real put the pressure on Barcelona, who face Villarreal on Sunday night.
