Lionel Messi reached yet another milestone as he scored his 350th goal for Barcelona during his side's 2-0 victory over Alaves at Estadio Mendizorrotza.
The Argentine struck in the 55th minute to break the deadlock, seizing on a cut-back from Jordi Alba before rifling a low shot past Fernando Pacheco in goal, although his effort did take a nick off Alexis on its way in.
That goal took Messi to 350 goals in just 384 games for Barcelona but he didn't dwell on his achievement for long as just over ten minutes later he scored a second with a well-taken volley to seal the win.
It wasn't all plain-sailing for the Barcelona forward, though as he saw a first-half penalty saved by Pacheco and missed the chance to seal his hat-trick by hitting the crossbar late on.
