WATCH: Jordi Alba's Copa del Rey-winning goal
Monday 23 May 2016 08:32, UK
Jordi Alba fired Barcelona to Copa del Rey glory with a goal in the first period of extra time during a 2-0 win against Sevilla.
The defender netted his first goal of the season with impeccable timing as he sent the Barcelona fans inside the Vicente Calderon Stadium into raptures and seeing his team-mates create a bundle in celebration.
But it was Lionel Messi's pin-point cross to him on the left flank that was truly impressive, as he assisted his first ever goal in a Copa del Rey final.
Neymar added a second with almost the last kick of the game to seal the victory for the Catalan side and give them another domestic double after picking up the La Liga title last weekend.
But it was a fiery encounter with three red cards during the game, including a sending off for Barcelona's Javier Mascherano.
