Real Madrid have handed breakthrough defender Nacho Fernandez a new six-year contract at the Bernabeu.
The 24-year-old centre-back broke into the Real first team last season and made 12 Primera Division appearances for the capital club.
A statement published on Real's official website read: "Real Madrid announce Nacho Fernandez's contract has been extended for the next six seasons and will run until the 2020-21 campaign."
Nacho also featured in three Champions League games during a campaign which saw Real go all the way to the final, where they beat city rivals Atletico Madrid to claim the European Cup for the 10th time.
