Roberto Soldado was Villarreal's goalscoring hero as the Yellow Submarine beat Real Madrid 1-0 in La Liga on Sunday night.
Soldado, who joined Villarreal from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, was in the right place at the right time to calmly sweep the ball home past Real goalkeeper Keylor Navas after just eight minutes.
And the frontman's early strike was enough to beat his old club as the visitors' expensively assembled forward line drew a rare blank at the Estadio El Madrigal.
