Zlatan Ibrahimovic became Paris St Germain's record goalscorer as he netted two first-half penalties in quick succession to steer the Ligue 1 leaders to a 2-1 home victory over Marseille.
PSG had been behind in Le Classique thanks to Michy Batshuayi's header on the half-hour mark.
But Ibrahimovic equalised 11 minutes later with a spot-kick he won himself, then earned and converted another penalty within three minutes to overtake Pauleta as his club's all-time goal king with a tally of 110.
Marseille were awarded a penalty themselves 10 minutes into the second half, but Kevin Trapp kept out Abdelaziz Barrada's attempt from 12 yards.
OM had other good chances to score, but it was the unbeaten champions who emerged with all three points and they are now five clear at the top of the table, while Marseille languish in 16th.
Although this was a fifth league defeat of the season for the visitors, they should take considerable encouragement from their efforts in a contest which saw them looking lively from the off.
Remy Cabella had a strike saved in the second minute and Maxwell then got in the way of Romain Alessandrini's shot.
PSG began to threaten as Steve Mandanda twice kept Ibrahimovic at bay and Angel Di Maria sent a shot narrowly wide.
But Marseille then snatched the lead as Belgium striker Batshuayi got to Barrada's cross ahead of David Luiz and nodded in his sixth goal of the campaign.
The hosts were back on level terms when Mandanda clattered Ibrahimovic on the edge of the box, picking up a yellow card for his trouble, and the Sweden hitman confidently tucked away the resulting spot-kick.
Moments later he was stepping up to take another penalty, given after his header struck Rolando's arm in the area.
Ibrahimovic buried his kick, but was made to re-take it due to encroachment by Edinson Cavani - and had no trouble converting again to secure the goalscoring record.
The start of the second half proved busy for PSG's Serge Aurier, who first wasted a good opening by putting the ball across the face of Marseille's goal, then brought down Barrada in his own box to give away another penalty.
Barrada could not show the ruthless touch of Ibrahimovic as he was denied by a fine save from Trapp, who then parried a fierce Batshuayi shot.
Ten minutes later Aurier was presented with a golden opportunity to make it 3-1 but, unmarked, he could only send his header into the turf and bouncing over the bar.
Team-mate Blaise Matuidi subsequently cracked an effort just too high, before Mandanda pulled off an incredible point-blank stop to prevent substitute Javier Patsore from scoring and Batshuayi headed over at the other end.
The final seconds saw Cabella unable to make the most of a decent chance equalise as he fired straight at Trapp's legs.
