Thomas Lemar said he was "very happy" to stay at Monaco after scoring twice for France in their 4-0 World Cup qualifying win over Holland.
The Monaco winger was set to join Arsenal after Monaco accepted the Gunner's club-record £92m offer but the deal fell through because it could not be completed in time.
Lemar, a target for both Liverpool and Arsenal this summer window, scored twice against Holland yesterday including a sweetly hit left-foot volley from outside the box.
"I am a player of Monaco, I am very happy there," Lemar told Canal + after the 4-0 victory over Holland.
"Now I'm going to make a good season with my club, to try to progress and move forward in my career with Monaco.
"Only myself, the representatives of my club and my agents know [of my future]. I was focused on my game, that's all that mattered to me."
Arsenal had hoped to replace Alexis Sanchez with the 21-year old Frenchman after receiving a £60m Deadline Day bid from Manchester City for the Chilean winger.
However, it was reported that Lemar preferred a move to Liverpool where Champions League football was on offer.
Arsenal's failure in agreeing personal terms with Lemar had a knock-on effect for City who could only sign Sanchez if Arsenal could find a suitable replacement first.
