Alexandre Lacazette will be allowed to join "the club of his heart" this summer if Lyon get the fee they want, their chairman says.

The France striker has scored 34 goals in 43 games this season and said earlier this month he wants a move to a club in the Champions League that "plays good football".

Now club chief Jean-Michel Aulas claims Lacazette has an offer from his dream club, but there will be no deal unless Lyon's price is met.

"Alex had a good option with a club that is in his heart," said Aulas, who turned down a £43m bid from West Ham last summer.

"If the club of his heart is able to match our demands then things will go well. Otherwise, it will depend on our other business."

Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in Lacazette, who has two years to run on his Lyon deal, although the Gunners may not be able to match the player's Champions League ambitions.

Aulas has backed Lyon boss Bruno Genesio, meanwhile, despite failure to secure Champions League qualification for next season.

But a new director of football could be appointed in the summer, with club great Juninho one target.

"Why not?" Aulas said. "He could have this profile. I haven't spoken to him, I don't know if he would be interested."
