Yaya Sanogo struck late to deny second-placed Monaco as Toulouse fought back to claim a thrilling 3-3 Ligue 1 draw.
The visitors needed only eight minutes to force their way in front when Rony Lopes converted Balde Keita's pass, although their hosts were level 16 minutes later through Ibrahima Sangare.
Lopes restored Monaco's lead two minutes after the restart and substitute Stevan Jovetic's 72nd-minute strike looked to have wrapped up the points.
However, Andy Delort's penalty six minutes later set the stage for a dramatic conclusion, and it was he who provided the ammunition for Sanogo to snatch a draw with three minutes remaining.
Karl Toko Ekambi was the hero for Angers as they beat Lille 2-1 to move out of the relegation zone.
Cameroon forward Ekambi put the visitors in front after 72 minutes only for Lille to equalise through Nicolas Pepe with three minutes remaining.
But Ekambi scored his second in the 89th minute to earn Angers three vital points as Lille returned to the bottom three.
Gael Kakuta netted the only goal as strugglers Amiens ended a four-game winless run with a 1-0 victory over high-flying Nantes.
The former Chelsea winger scored just before the break and Amiens held onto their slender advantage in the second half to move up to 15th.
Lucas Deaux bagged a brace as Guingamp twice came from behind to hold basement club Metz to a 2-2 draw.
Metz midfielder Florent Mollet opened the scoring from the penalty spot after six minutes before Deaux levelled things up 15 minutes later.
Nolan Roux put Metz back in front 11 minutes into the second half but Deaux found the net again four minutes before the end to deny the visitors their first victory in four games.
Troyes dropped into the relegation zone after goals from Wahbi Khazri and Sanjin Prcic inspired Rennes to a 2-0 victory over their 10-man visitors, who had Charles Traore sent off in the 90th minute.
Meanwhile Dijon beat Caen 2-0 courtesy of Damien Da Silva's first-half own goal and a Julio Tavares penalty.
