Neil Lennon has been suspended by Hibernian pending a club investigation following a heated team meeting, Sky Sports News understands.
The meeting is believed to have taken place at the club's East Lothian training base on Friday, with Lennon being suspended later that day.
The head coach will not be in the dugout for the match against bottom-of-the-table St Mirren, according to Sky sources, which is live on Sky Sports on Sunday.
Neither the club nor Lennon have made any comment and at this stage it is unclear who will take charge of the team in Paisley this weekend.
It is likely that Lennon has taken charge of Hibernian for the last time.
Hibs are currently eighth in the table after a run of five league matches without a win.
Former Celtic manager Lennon has been in charge at Easter Road since 2016.
He guided the club to the Championship title in his first season and finished fourth in the Premiership in the 2017-18 campaign.
