Aberdeen have signed defender Dominic Ball from Rotherham United on a season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old's signature was secured late on Thursday, not long before the summer transfer window closed.

The former Tottenham trainee spent a season on loan at Rangers before joining the Millers in August 2016.

During his time in Glasgow, Ball made 30 appearances in all competitions for the Gers in the season they topped the Scottish Championship table.
