Steven Gerrard says Rangers cannot afford to underestimate Livingston as they look to bounce back from their midweek defeat at Kilmarnock.
Rangers dropped to third in the Premiership after losing 2-1 at Rugby Park on Wednesday and are now three points behind league leaders Celtic, who have a game in hand over their Old Firm rivals.
The Ibrox club lost 1-0 at Livingston earlier this season and Gerrard is hoping to avoid a repeat result when they revisit the Tony Macaroni Arena on Sunday, live on Sky Sports Football.
"We didn't perform last time around against Livingston," he said.
"We have to learn our lessons from the last match and be prepared. It is another challenge for the team but I am confident we can get the result.
"Tactically I expect Livingston to be similar to the last match. It is down to us to play to our gameplan and overcome it."
Joe Worrall was at fault for Kilmarnock's equaliser in midweek and Gerrard has demanded an immediate reaction from the centre-back.
"I don't think Joe is that insecure that he is going to need a cuddle or an arm round from me," said Gerrard. "He is a big boy. People make mistakes and he's human.
"I'm more interested in his reaction and what he's going to give in terms of performance moving forward. That is the key. We all make mistakes - that's the game. It's how you react to it."
Gerrard handed debuts to Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis against Kilmarnock but admits the pair are not guaranteed to start against Livingston.
"I'm sure the minutes they got on Wednesday will benefit them," he said. "They haven't played much football of late.
"I'll have to manage them in terms of their game time. They are here for the next six months not the next six games.
"It's down to me to make sure I use them in the right way but what is a fact is that the recovery takes a wee bit longer if you've put in a shift on a plastic pitch.
"That goes for everyone, not just them and that is on my mind at the moment."
