Rangers captain Lee Wallace optimistic on return from groin injury

Rangers captain Lee Wallace has revealed he is over the halfway line in his return from injury.

Wallace has been missing with a groin injury since a 2-2 draw with Partick Thistle on September 15.

But he is working hard to get back on the pitch and is happy with his progress.

Wallace told www.rangersfc.co.uk: "I am probably just past the halfway stage in my recovery, when I went to Manchester a couple of weeks ago we earmarked that as being the halfway stage.

"I got positive feedback when I went down the road and I spoke to the experts and got the right advice.
