Rangers have confirmed that Andy Halliday has joined Azerbaijani side Gabala in a season-long loan deal.
The midfielder, who is a former Livingston and Middlesbrough player, made 42 appearances for Rangers last season.
Halliday, who was omitted from Rangers' Europa League squad, is under contract with the Glasgow club until 2020.
He only started in two of Pedro Caixinha's line-ups following the Portuguese manager's appointment in March.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Gers from Bradford, will now fly out to Gabala's training camp in Austria.
The club finished second in the Azerbaijan Premier League last season and will begin their Europa League campaign in the second qualifying round next month, where they will face either Dinamo Batumi of Georgia or Jagiellonia Bialystok of Poland.
Halliday has made 91 appearances for Rangers since his arrival and was part of their Scottish Championship and Scottish Challenge Cup successes under Mark Warburton in 2015/16.
Rangers' new campaign begins in earnest this week when Caixinha's side play their first qualifying round first leg against Progres Niederkorn on Thursday.
