Pedro Caixinha insists he is not thinking about Aberdeen next season and says the focus at Rangers is "always to be No 1".
The Gers lost to Aberdeen at Ibrox for the first time in almost 26 years on Wednesday, with goals from Graeme Shinnie and Ryan Christine giving the visitors the advantage before Martyn Waghorn got one back for the home side as it finished 2-1.
Before the game Derek McInnes said Rangers should be embarrassed at finishing below the Dons in the Scottish Premiership this season but the Portuguese hit back and said they should feel pride at qualifying for the Europa League following the club's financial problems in 2012.
"No, Rangers need to feel very proud. Because this is a club that has travelled all the way from the bottom to the Europa League," he said. "They should be proud of what they have done along these five years.
"I'm not focused on Aberdeen next season. The focus at this club is always to be No 1.

"We don't misunderstand things here. I know what it represents to be in this chair, despite many others who should like to be here but they aren't. I know what the job represents and I am here to defend the club and work for the club."
He added: "Our fans know that I am here to defend the club, I am working really hard to give them happiness and we also learn that Derek maybe is not the only one desperate to be in this position which I am occupying at this moment."
