Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha absolved his players of blame after their latest humiliation at the hands of Celtic, insisting ultimate responsibility falls on his lap.
Celtic followed up last weekend's 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win with a crushing 5-1 victory at Ibrox, their dominance total from start to finish.
It took the aggregate score over six meetings this season to 16-4 in favour of Brendan Rodgers' men and the Ibrox boss - who has been in charge for the last two defeats - admitted his side had been outclassed.
He told Sky Sports: "After a 5-1 defeat you have not that much to say. They were better, they deserved to win.
"We really believed the players can do it, but it just took five minutes - everything was wrong.
"The man responsible is me - the players did everything they worked on, they were ready to do it. I take responsibility for everything.
"I saw more from my players this week than in last weekend's Scottish Cup semi-final defeat, the way we started the game was in that direction.
"You need to judge me all the time. From day one since I came here. I not a guy who puts the responsibility on others, I take it all the time."
The gulf between the two sides was underlined throughout a chastening afternoon for those in Light Blue and the manager acknowledged there was much work to be done.
"We need to make a lot of changes, we are very keen to reduce the difference," he said.
"It is possible to bridge the gap and we need to do it. That's what everyone is working hard towards."
Rangers striker Kenny Miller, who signed a one-year contract extension this week, did not hold back in his assessment of the day's events.
He told Sky Sports: "Disappointed is not a strong enough word. You're ashamed to play your part in a performance like that, embarrassed by the result."
