Kenny Miller says Rangers need to find a level of consistency if they are to mount a serious title challenge this season.

Rangers have made a stuttering start to the campaign, winning just six of their 13 league games, and sit third in the Scottish Premiership table, 11 points behind leaders Celtic.

Mark Warburton's side travel to Firhill on Saturday to face Partick Thistle, live on Sky Sports, and veteran striker Miller, who scored his 100th goal for Rangers against Inverness CT earlier this month, is demanding an immediate upturn in fortunes.

He said: "We got a good win last week (1-0 against Dundee) but we definitely need to back that up.

"At the moment, it's a draw, a win, a draw, a win, but if we are going to have any success and have a good league position at the end of the season then we are going to have to put a run of wins together.

"I think we have won two games in a row three times this year so we need to put a four or five-game winning streak together and we have a fantastic opportunity to do that over the next four or five games.
