Brendan Rodgers has reiterated that Craig Gordon will still be at Celtic when the transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
Chelsea reportedly launched a second bid of £4m for Gordon over the weekend but Rodgers is adamant the Scotland No 1 is going nowhere.
When asked to state whether Gordon would not be leaving before Wednesday's visit of Aberdeen, the Celtic boss answered: "Yes. He will be in the team.
"There is nothing new to add. I repeat, we don't want to sell him.
"My job here is very simple: to look after Celtic, help the club develop on and off the field. And part of that is not to give away your best players.
"So for me it is pretty straightforward."
Chelsea are looking to replace wantaway Asmir Begovic, who is the subject of a bid from Bournemouth, but Rodgers claimed to be in the dark over whether Antonio Conte's side had made an increased offer for Gordon.
"You know more than me," Rodgers replied when asked during Monday's press conference.
Despite the Premier League club's pursuit of Gordon, Rodgers claimed he had not given "one iota" of thought about a potential replacement for Gordon.
The 34-year-old former Hearts and Sunderland goalkeeper's contract expires in the summer but Celtic have the option of a further year.
