The first league Old Firm derby for four years will take place on Saturday, September 10 when Premiership champions Celtic host Rangers.
And the traditional New Year's fixture, missing since Rangers' demotion to the bottom tier in 2012, returns to the calendar on December 31 before the Glasgow giants meet for a third time on Saturday, March 11.
The 2016/17 campaign, which will include a month-long winter break in January, kicks off with new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers taking his side to Tynecastle to face Robbie Neilson's new-look Hearts on Saturday, August 6.
Aberdeen, runners-up to Celtic for the past two seasons, face St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park while Rangers boss Mark Warburton gets his first taste of Premiership action against Hamilton Accies at Ibrox.
Inverness, managed by former striker Richie Foran, travel to Glasgow to face Partick Thistle while Kilmarnock, who preserved their top-flight status with a 5-1 play-off win over Falkirk last season, host Mark McGhee's Motherwell.
