Abdul Osman is confident the family atmosphere at Partick Thistle can help Mathias Pogba move on from his Paris ordeal.

The Thistle striker was at the Stade de France last Friday watching brother Paul taking on Germany when the Paris terror attacks broke out immediately outside the stadium and in other parts of the city.

He returned to Glasgow ahead of Monday's training session and is ready to face Inverness in the Premiership on Saturday after some comforting words from his team-mates and others at Firhill.

Club captain Osman, who also played with Pogba at Crewe, said: "It's a family club and the boys are all together. We are all good with each other.

"I have always kept in contact with him when it happened. I rang him straight away as soon as I heard. I knew he was going to watch his brother so I knew he was in the stadium.

"Everything was fine and since he has come back he has been in good spirits in training.

"The team have been there for him and spoken to him and asked him what happened and how he felt. We are all behind him and I think he is all right.

"They were tragic scenes but he's back now and as long as he's all right mentally all we can do is support him and try and get on with playing football."
