Boston have appointed Tommy Taylor as their new manager.

Boston have appointed Tommy Taylor as their new manager.

The Pilgrims have been searching for a new boss since Steve Evans parted company with the club at the end of last season.

Boston were relegated from the Football League on the final day of the season and were then demoted a further division after breaking rules regarding debts.

Taylor will now try to lead Boston out of the Blue Square North Division after leaving his role at Peterborough.

He has been working with Posh as first-team coach since last November.

Taylor also has experience of management with Leyton Orient and non-league clubs Farnborough and Kings Lynn.
