Middlesbrough defender Adam Jackson has extended his loan spell at Hartlepool until the start of January.
The 21-year-old moved to Victoria Park at the start of November and made an impressive debut in Hartlepool's 1-0 FA Cup win over Cheltenham.
Centre-back Jackson has also played in three Sky Bet League 2 matches, as well as Friday night's 1-1 draw at Salford in the FA Cup second round.
Hartlepool manager Ronnie Moore was happy to have been able to extend the terms of the loan deal through to the match at Newport County on January 2.
"Adam has done well since he came to the club so we are pleased to keep him," Moore said on the official Hartleppol website.
"He is only relatively young but he plays with maturity, so we are happy that Middlesbrough have allowed him to stay with us until January."
