Highlights from the Sky Bet League Two fixture between Grimsby and Cambridge.

Grimsby played out their third goalless draw in a row at home as they were held once again by Cambridge.

Sam Jones went closest to breaking the deadlock early on after he nicked the ball off defender Leon Legge but the former Gateshead man's curling effort came back off the post with David Forde beaten.

Luke Summerfield's corner almost crept straight in moments later, before Scott Vernon had a header superbly saved by Forde.

Uche Ikpeazu then squandered a golden opportunity to give Cambridge the lead as he scuffed his shot wide from just a few yards out.

The hosts went perilously close again in the second half when Siriki Dembele rounded Forde and played the ball across goal but Vernon couldn't catch up in time for a tap in.

James McKeown was then called into action as Jevani Brown worked his way into the penalty area but the Grimsby keeper was on hand with a superb save to make sure his side claimed a point.
